When Rapa Nui (the big island) was discovered by white outsiders

In middle of the Pacific ocean, Rapa Nui (Easter Island) was discovered on Easter day by the Dutch navigator Roggeveen who named it Easter Island.
Paloma Huke write "Mata Tu'u Hotu iti", that give us interesting information about history and culture of Rapa Nui.
